What to actually check in your fund app

A short tour: login, balance, insurance, fees. Then get on with your week.
Fund apps are noisy. You need about four glances, not a weekend.
The useful four
- Balance. A number. It’ll bounce around. That’s markets, not your worth.
- Contributions. Is the job paying in?
- Insurance. Death/TPD/income protection if it’s there. Read the one-liner. Decide later. The map: What even is insurance inside Super?.
- Fees. A yearly peek. High vs typical is enough; you don’t need a PhD.
What you can ignore for now
Fancy graphs, “investment options” deep-dives, and anyone yelling at you to switch today. Bookmark it. Come back when you’ve slept.
One calm login a year (and a check that SG is landing) is a real Super habit.
